Lou Baranello has been breathing SAAB for the past thirty years. He was the owner of Swedish Performance Group in Gresham for nine years, and prior to that was a Saab Master Technician at Garry Small Saab. Travis worked for Lou years ago, and they have been friends for ten years. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our team, as well as numerous special tools that are no longer availble. Lou enjoys getting out to the woods with his family, they spend most weekends romping around the Gifford Pinchot National Forest on their quads. |

Austin Bailey made the mistake of emailing from New York saying he wanted to "be involved with Portland's Saab community." He drives a 2000 9-3 that has been modified extensively to make it FAST. He perfroms numerous tasks that are far too mundane for anyone else to handle, this being the price he has to pay for us to bestow our extensive knowledge of Saabs on him. We look forward to seeing him grow into a technician from his current status of "shop monkey." We welcome Austin to Portland and Atomic Auto! |

Travis got hit by a semi truck in his first Saab, a 1980 900 Turbo, which sacrificed itself to save his life (as well as three passengers.) Since then he’s been a loyal Saab fan, always interested in the technology and ideals the company brought to the automobile business. In response to an exploding demand for his expertise he decided to break from his former employer and long time friend, Mike Burch (Expert Auto Repair) and try it out on his own in June of 2006
If it’s an excuse to get out to the woods, Travis will do it. He loves running rivers in his driftboat, pursuing the various piscavores that inhabit the smaller rivers of Oregon and Washington. When he's not at the shop he spends his time with his family of loyal canine companions, Boss Dog, Kenny, and Foxy Br own. Along with a flock of 15 chickens, he keeps busy with the animals on his farm. |

Eamon was looking for a place where both his love of Saabs and pleasant demeanor would be appreciated. In November of 2006, he met Barry and Travis, and decided that he had found a team that he could be a part of. He has repaired anything with an engine from an early age, and after he drove his first Saab was hooked. No job too big or small, he can handle any mechanical issue on a Saab and make it look easy!
Eamon lives in domestic tranquility with his partner Lana. He enjoys playing golf, reading, and ranting about the current dysfunctional state of global and domestic affairs under the present regime. |

Barry is our shop helper, office manager, receptionist, shuttle service and jack of all trades. All the small things that are required to keep us rolling are his department. He is also in charge of maintaining morale when things get difficult. Always ready to help out whenever Eamon and Travis need that little extra hand to finish a job, he fills an essential role in our team. Barry enjoys spending time with his wife Wendy, new baby boy Elliott John, Gertie and Max (canine defenders of the homestead.) He is also in high demand for his skills as a drummer and recording engineer for several Portland bands (currenty Roaring Lions, The Rapids, and Merrick Foundation) |
